A track test comparison proves power isn’t everything with a sports car

The German magazine Auto Bild recently held a testing of the new Praga R1 vs. the Audi R8 V10, and the results were, needless to say, impressive. The testing took place at the Slovakiaring track in Dunejska Streda, 40 km outside of Bratislava. The track, at 5922 meters long, is one of the longest and most varied circuits in Europe. But that didn’t stop the Praga R1, which outperformed the Audi in all sectors of the track, including sector 3, where power is especially important. The Audi’s best lap time was 2:25,79 min, while the R1 came in at 2:13,02 min., almost 12 seconds faster. To learn more about how you can test the Praga R1, visit www.pragar1.com
