Alessandro Manetti wins on Praga at Rotax Max Euro in Castelletto
26 May 2013, Castelletto, Italy — With his impressive performance Alessandro MANETTI – competing for JOSH HART RACING – was not to beat at the 2nd round of the Rotax Max Euro DD2 Masters in Castelletto last weekend. He won the final even with the fastest lap in DD2 over all on his PRAGA-kart. His strongest challenger, South African karting hero and three times world champion, Cristiano MORGADO, as well racing for JHR on PRAGA had in the rain on Saturday once more demonstrated his outstanding class face to face with the final winner Manetti. Unfortunately he did only get a brief chance to fight against Alessandro for the victory in the all deciding masters-race Sunday afternoon… In lap 4 Cristiano was crashed out of the final by another driver.
Same misfortune for our Niklas OLSEN from Denmark in DD2. In the prefinals he was as well kicked off the track taking him with a technical damage all chances for the final race too.
Our team youngster Juan Manuel CORREA from USA proved his talent and speed during the week, showcased a great kart feeling in the terribly wet and cold Saturday conditions too and collected lots of important experiences in the finals on Sunday finishing on P21 out of 50 competitors in Junior: Rotax Max racing in the EURO needs definitely some more races to get 100% used to the European karting style.
Thanks to all our drivers for racing with us and of course to all our team staff for their great job.
