GERCollector reviews the Praga Bohema: “I’m completely blown away – what a phenomenal car!”

Germany’s leading automotive influencer and YouTuber, GERCollector, has praised the Praga Bohema hypercar for its on-track handling, on-road compliance, and lightweight design in his latest YouTube video, filmed at the Nürburgring in July 2024.

“Weight is the be-all and end-all. With a monster of an engine delivering 700 hp, and a total weight under 1,000 kg, the Bohema’s concept is truly remarkable,” he commented.

Driving the Bohema for the first time on public roads, GERCollector highlighted his fascination with the racecar characteristics of the street-legal car, drawing attention to its LMP-style cabin, racecar steering wheel, and six-speed sequential gearbox.

While enjoying the “raw” sensation of gear changes and responsive acceleration, GERCollector added, “I’m genuinely surprised by how relaxed it feels to drive on the road. It’s nowhere near as extreme as I expected. The braking isn’t harsh at all, and it’s incredibly relaxed thanks to the suspension, plus the air conditioning. While it’s not a car for long-distance cruising, it’s theoretically possible because you’ve got the space and headroom”.

On the legendary Nürburgring track, GERCollector unleashed the Bohema’s highspeed performance potential to test its cornering and braking capabilities, leaving a positive, lasting impression. “The Bohema pulls you through the corners, and on the straights it effortlessly rockets to 240, 250, 260, 270 km/h… and still has even more to give. You can brake much later than expected, and the cornering speeds are absolutely insane. What a monster! I’m completely blown away – what a phenomenal car!”

The Bohema will be back on track at the GERCollector Trackday Nürburgring GP Edition next week on 18th September on its first invitation to the event, where it will join a line-up of elite hypercars, supercars and racecars.
