From karts to formulas: Praga and CRAM long-term partnership
In cooperation with Formula 4 team CRAM Motorsport, Praga Kart factory team is set to pave way for young talent into the world of single-seater racing.
Helping young drivers moving up the ladder of motorsport world was always one of the core missions of the Praga Kart factory team. Now, we are adding another step to that ladder.
Praga Kart entered into a partnership with CRAM Motorsport, a major Italian racing team with over 17 years of experience in formula racing. Our goal is to extend the possibilities offered to our young talent from karting to the prestigious world of single-seater racing.
In the same way as our new Rotax Junior Sport class of karting helps youngsters enter the world of racing, this new partnership offers a way out of karting world, to the circuit racing and towards professional career.
CRAM Motorsport, led by brothers Simon and Gabriele Rosei, is a successful formula racing team based in Italian town of Erba. It can boast a trophy room of 14 championship titles and 107 victories. The list of alumni includes big names like Felipe Massa, Pastor Maldonado, Tony Kanaan, Ben Hanley, Davide Valsecchi and Jaime Alguersuari.
The enthusiasm for this long-term adventure is mutual: Praga is proud to expand its range of activities in motorsport, positioning itself as one of the most attentive and active organisations for young talent. CRAM Motorsport, for its part, is excited to embark on a new adventure that will allow it to develop more drivers in a highly technical and formative environment.
