Praga Alfa premiere at Aviation Show
On 3 and 4 June, at the Pardubice Airport, visitors to the 27th year of the Aviation Show premiered the new SM-92TE Praga Alfa multi-purpose aircraft. For both days, Praga Alfa was presented on static stands in a company of world-famous air crafts. More than twenty-five thousand visitors attended the event, and there was a large number of those who were interested in the new Praga Alfa, not only in terms of flight performances but also because the Praga brand returned to the sky after almost seven decades. Concurrently, the well-preserved, historical type of Praga E-114 Air Baby was also presented on the Aviation Show. In the mid-1930s Praga Air Baby became the first Praga aircraft that expanded not only in Czechoslovakia but also in several countries of Europe and the Middle East.
Although it was only a static demonstration, visitors who were present at a nearby home airport in Hradec Kralove were very surprised when the crew with the Praga Alfa, using the reverse propeller, conveniently pulled back from its place on the stand directly to the runway.
