Praga Racing USA debuts the R1 at The Amelia
Praga travelled to Florida on 2nd and 3rd March to support Praga Racing USA’s first show appearance of 2024 at The Amelia, and meet the Czech company’s road and race car clients at ModaMiami on the same dates in Miami.
The Praga R1 belonging to Shane Anderson, CEO of Praga’s official USA dealer, was in prime position at the entrance to the Amelia Island Concours of Elegance event, making it the first race car to be seen on arrival for the record number of 27,000 car enthusiasts who attended.
Shane Anderson said; “We are really happy with the way the Praga R1 was received at the show. Being at The Amelia is a special occasion in itself, but to be located at the main entrance, for all to see, was super exciting. The R1 looked stunning and really added to the ambience of The Amelia Concours D’Elegance event.”
The Praga R1 joined hundreds of the most impressive vehicles from across the US, including race cars, classic cars and supercars. A 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO was crowned Best in Show, Concours de Sport while a 1947 Delahaye 135MS Narval Cabriolet took home Best in Show, Concours d’Elegance.
