Praga Red-y for an exciting 2025
2025 was already proving to be a pivotal year for Praga Cars before the Czech manufacturer unveiled its production-spec Bohema test car in a brand new name Red design (with optional white racing stripe featuring the Praga logo) in front of 20,000 car enthusiasts at the Spa-Francorchamps BDG Motor Show on Sunday 6thApril.
Praga visited Spa for the third successive year with Ben Collins, Praga’s development test driver and ambassador, taking prospects and customers for fast laps and helping the owner of the first Praga Bohema (Herman van der Pavert) set his car up for Spa.
The last few weeks have seen Praga deliver the first customer Bohema to van der Pavert and his @mclarentwins family, help him shakedown the car at Zandvoort, and secure EU homologation. Last weekend’s trip to the BDG Motor Show at Spa, saw van der Pavert reunited with Collins two years after he first experienced a hot lap in the Bohema with the ex-Stig.
Van der Pavert said: “Sunday at the BDG Motor Show was a once in a lifetime experience. Not only did we enjoy showcasing our Sennas in front of 20,000 car fans, but my Praga Bohema journey came full circle. I first experienced the potential of the car next to Ben in 2023 at this very track and knew then that I had to drive my own Bohema up Eau Rouge. It was great to have Ben with us when that dream came true.”
The next track stop for the Praga team will be at the GerCollector Nurburgring track day, May 1st, where the red test car and an all-new show car will be present alongside van der Pavert’s Bohema, Senna and Senna GTR. All three cars will be taking pride of place in the hypercar convoy that will end the day with a lap of the legendary Nordschleife.
Before the trip to the “Green Hell”, Praga will debut the Bohema in Switzerland at the MYLE Zurich supercar event, April 26th/27th. For further information about the 700hp, 1,000kgs, limited-run Praga hypercar, or to arrange a viewing or test ride, contact info@pragacars.com
Following the GerCollector track day, Praga will tour the UK with the Bohema through May and finalise plans for further high-profile customer handovers in the early summer to European and US clients.
